Rules and Regulations
Academy Players Rules and Regulations:
- Do not come with valuables like phones, watches, money. Any loss of valuable items is at a players’ risk. The Academy shall not be held responsible for any lost valuables.
- No coming to training late. If a player comes late to training twice in a week will queried and the query must be replied.
- If a player absent himself from training or match twice will be suspended and if repeated twice will be expelled.
- Players must cut their nails before entering the pitch. Player found with a grown nails will face disciplinary action.
- Players must keep a very low hair cut/style that is not more than 1 inch.
- Coming to training with dirty cloths is not acceptable.
- Littering in and around the pitch vicinity is completely prohibited.
- All players seating while a game is going on must pick balls that goes out of the pitch of play.
- Any player who disrespect, threatens or assaults a Coach, Referee or spectator will result in a lengthy suspension, probation or dismissal from the Academy.
- Every Player must flash his I.D Card at the gate before entering the training pitch. Every player must sign next to their names when arrive at the training ground.
Failure to do that the player will be restrain from entering the training ground. - No coach or player shall use racial or ethnic slurs or offensive language that includes derogatory comments about gender, sexual orientation, physical ability or religion.
Any player or coach guilty of such violations will be subject to disciplinary action which may be suspension, probation or dismissal from the Academy. - During the suspension, the player must be present at each training or game, dressed in street clothes and sitting on the player’s bench throughout the game or training session.
- When a player is on probation or dismissed from the Academy he must fill in a reinstatement form before he can be reinstated back to the Academy.
- By being a member of GIFA you have solemnly declared as stated below:
- I will obey the laws of the game.
- I will believe in the honesty of my opponents.
- I will be generous when the team wins.
- I will be grateful when the team loses.
- I will never encourage or participate in any activities that may locally or internationally injure players/spectators or damage soccer facilities.
- I will help develop and appreciate the game of soccer.
- I will observe fair play rule no matter the outcome.
- I will accept the decision of the referee or officials in good faith.
