THE COORDINATOR (MOHAMMED ZAKARI)

Being a graduate of University of Jos with a major in Geography and Planning has not deter Mohammed Zakari from the field of football management. As an experienced businessman coupled with the modern education about managing business, MZ as he is popularly known has been able to support Gee-Lec International Football Academy with his wealth of experience in both coordination, logistics and management.

MZ is a family and hustler with much believe in naturalist and discipline in the journey of life. Among his favorite meals are pounded yam and vegetable soup.

Shehu Abdullahi
(Assistant Team Manager)

ASST. TEAM MANAGER (SHEHU ABDULLAHI)

Shehu Abdullahi is a young energetic personality with vast experience in the field of football. He played his last professional football career as an Elkanemi Warrior player in the year 2015.

Some of the teams/clubs Shehu has played includes Tempers (Jos), Zabgai FC (Bauchi, 1997), Mighty Jets FC (Jos, 1998-2003), Yobe Desert Stars (Yobe, 2003-2006), Niger Tonardos ((2009-2013) and Elkanemi Warriors (Maiduguri, 2013-2015).

Discipline, determination and dedication are his watch-words and as simple as it sounds, he enjoys rice, salad and beans for a good meal.

Nasiru Shehu Zakari
(Head Coach)

HEAD COACH (NASIRU SHEHU ZAKARI a.k.a Lole)

Former Mighty Jets feeders coach Mr. Nasiru Shehu Zakari popularly known and called Lole started his coaching career over 30 years ago. He has had the liberty to instill his coaching skills in various clubs within the Jos Metropolis. Some of the clubs and victories he had handled includes Under-13 Jos North Local Government (2009), PRTV 5-Aside, Comrade Ahmed Gago (Under-16), Derby Cup and Mighty Jets feeders.

Coach Lole as his alias name has been able to train and develop a number of players who have turned out to be good footballers in the football game. Among these players are, Benjamin Ishaya Turba (Plateau United), Bright Silas (Rangers) Silvanus John (Mighty Jets), Charles Eze (Norway), Ogbu John, Chigozie Umeh and Waheed Bello (Crown Ogbomoso).

Coach Nasiru Shehu Zakari enjoys rice, plantain and assorted intestine any time of the day.

Fatai Yakini
(Technical Coach)

TECHNICAL COACH (FATAI YAKINI)

Mr. Fatayi Yakini former Nigerian Green Eagles and Nigerian Standard FC captain is a certified coach with multiple training certificates such as CAF (C) Coaching Course, NSC (Train the Trainers) and CAF (B) Coaching Course. He is known for his technical coaching skills in the field of football.

Coach Fatayi has various honours and achievements such as World Cup qualifier (1981), African Cup of Nations Libya (1982), ECOWAS Games (Runners-up) Ethiopia (1983), FA Cup Champions (1984), African Cup Winner Cup Runner-up (1985), National League Champions (1986), Nigerian National Challenge Cup (1986), Unity Cup Competition Champions Clubs (1986), Mandela Cup Champions Clubs (1987) and WAFU Cup Champions (1989).

Yakini has worked with teams as a coach. Some of the teams are Youth Development FC (1990-1996, as Head Coach) and Plateau Pyramid FC (1996-2011, as Head Coach)

The old hand was not left behind in the field of a professional football career experience. Some of the teams he had played for are Balck Stars FC Jos (1975-1976), Mighty Jet FC Jos (1977-1980, as Captain), National Green Eagles (1978-1984, as Captain), Nigerian Standard FC (1981-1984, as captain), Leventis United FC (1984-1987), Jib Rocks Striker FC (1987-1988), Ranchers Bees FC, Kaduna (1988-1990) and Mighty Jets FC, Jos (1990-1993).

Coach is a man who has gone way-back and base on his life experience believes in fairness, honesty and discipline in life. He is a fan of Kayan ciki pepper soup (assorted intestine soup).

Adamu Mohammed Ado
(U-17 Team Coach)

U-17 COACH (ADAMU MOHAMMED ADO)

Coach Adamu Ado Mohammed is a former Under-17 player of the Nigerian national youth team. Throughout his youthful career both as a player and coach, he has the following achievements at hand:

  • Runner-ups (Meridian Cup, Africa)
  • State F.A Cup Winner (Ondo, Oyo, Kaduna)
  • Won Pro League twice (Wikki and Shooting stars 2011/2012 & 2009/2010 respectively)
  • Won Jos Chilling
  • Majority of the players he had trained were picked to National U-17

Some of the prestigious teams/clubs he had played for includes Shooting Stars, Sunshine Stars, Kaduna United, Wikki Tourist of Bauchi, Rising Stars and Plateau United.

Coach Ado is a simple man that is bent on discipline, dedication and focus. Rice beans and plantain is among his favorite meals.
